Motor, r\u00f6le gibi bobin i\u00e7eren ve elektronik bir devre ile kontrol edilen elemanlarin bacaklari arasina bobine paralel, ters y\u00f6nde baglanan diyod; a\u00e7ma kapama sirasinda bobinde olusacak ters y\u00f6nl\u00fc y\u00fcksek gerilimi kisa devre ederek kontrol devresinin zarar g\u00f6rmesini \u00f6nler.<\/p>\n

G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde dogrultma\u00e7 ve diger ama\u00e7larla daha sik olarak silisyum diyodlar kullanilmaktadir. Genellikle silindirik cam veya plastik kiliftadirlar. Y\u00fcksek akima ve veya gerilime dayanabilen g\u00fc\u00e7 diyodlari sogutmayi kolaylastiran metal kiliflarda da olabilir. Katod y\u00f6n\u00fcndeki bacak tarafi kilifa zit renkli bir renk halkasi ile isaretlenmistir. Silisyum diyodlar iletme y\u00f6n\u00fcnde kutuplandiklarinda \u00fczerlerinde d\u00fcsen gerilim miktari 0.7V\u2019tur. Genlik mod\u00fclasyonlu alicilarda y\u00fcksek frekans \u00fczerine bindirilmis mod\u00fclasyon dalgasini ayirip almak i\u00e7in kullanilan germanyum diyodlar ise genellikle cam kiliftadirlar ve \u00fczerlerinde iletim y\u00f6n\u00fcnde kutuplamada d\u00fcsen gerilim 0.2V\u2019tur.<\/p>\n
